Seda at Giffoni Film Festival 2025: packaging, sustainability and dialogue with the next generation

For the first time, Seda took part in the Giffoni Film Festival as a technical sponsor, making a tangible contribution to the sustainability of one of the most important international events dedicated to young people, while strengthening dialogue around environmental responsibility and innovation.

During the Festival, Seda supplied more than 60,000 customized cups, featuring sustainability-focused messages aimed at raising awareness about recycling, circular economy and responsible consumption. This initiative not only helped reduce the environmental impact of the event, but also transformed packaging into a meaningful communication tool, capable of promoting awareness and encouraging positive behavioural change.

Participating in the Giffoni Film Festival represented an important opportunity for Seda to showcase the value of sustainable packaging—not only as an industrial solution, but also as a driver of culture, education and environmental awareness.

One of the highlights of Seda’s presence at the Festival was a dedicated talk with IMPACT, the Giffoni Film Festival community bringing together young people aged 18 to 30 who are actively engaged in social and environmental issues.

Leading the discussion were three of Seda’s young talents — Valeria Amitrano, Paolo Vecchione and Carlo Pirozzi — who engaged the audience through an open and dynamic conversation starting from an original and inspiring perspective: the iconic role of packaging in the world of cinema and its impact on collective imagination and everyday experiences.

Through insights, examples and reflections, the talk sparked a lively and meaningful discussion, demonstrating how essential dialogue with younger generations is in building a stronger and more conscious culture of sustainability.

Seda’s participation in the Giffoni Film Festival reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting innovation, environmental responsibility and community engagement through initiatives that combine positive impact, education and long-term vision.

“It was a moment of great pride for us: the IMPACT community appreciated not only the content we shared, but also the enthusiasm and passion with which our colleagues told their story and shared their experience.”

With this first participation, Seda further strengthens its commitment to a more concrete and inclusive approach to sustainability, reaffirming packaging as a tool for innovation, awareness and meaningful dialogue with communities and future generations.
